How Can You Be A Bridge?

Bridges are used to connect one point to another as we traverse over waterways, landscape dips, other roads, and so on.  People are bridges as well.  We connect with each other in many ways from simply shared interests to professional connections.  Likewise, the Trinity of God: God the Father/Creator, God the Son/Jesus Christ, and God the Holy Spirit connect with us in various ways.  God created us to connect with Him and vice versa.  Equally, we can connect as Believers with non-believers and plant a seed into someone wherein God is able to harvest the soul into eternal life.

Our Testimony Is Our Story

Many times throughout our own life book, we have chapters that we fill.  From birth to teenage years, challenges, school chapters, adulthood chapters, and so many other commentaries and adventures that we find ourselves sharing with others.  God uses our life's testimonies, our journeys, and our experiences to reach others.  Similar circumstances, episodes can be used as a way to reach another person whether a Believer who needs comfort or a lost soul that needs the light of Jesus.

Where Are You Spending Eternity?

Great question and an even more curious thought. Where are you planning to spend eternity?  While we can attempt to claim that there are multiple choices or everyone that's good will get into an afterlife, that is sadly a misguided assumption.  While we can choose to accept or deny the Bible, every human will face that question no matter what your belief.

Wyatt delivered this message at Liberty Baptist Church located in Lisbon, MD and illustrates that we do have only two choices when that moment arrives.

Where is Your Foundation?

This is a challenging yet necessary question we must ask ourselves in this modern and turbulent era.  Where is Your Foundation?  Listen along as Wyatt delivers this provocative query and point to ponder at the close.

This message was delivered on July 13, 2025 at Faith Baptist Church of South Laurel, MD.

Father's Day Message

We recognize, acknowledge, and thank all of our Father's for what they have and continue to do for us in our lives.  We also remember our Heavenly Father and all that He provides to us.

Mother's Day Message

We acknowledge and thank all of our Mother's for what they have and continue to do for us in our lives.  We pause and share a remembrance and recognize all that they do for the family.

Pathway to Redemption

While the Triumphant Entry also known as Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy or Passion Week, it was truly a pathway for Christ and ultimately the Heavenly Father to redeem you so that you could have eternal life.

Time and God's Mercy

God's timeline is a far different sight picture than we humans will ever grasp.  In this sermon, we'll look at Creation and what God's Word says about our time, or rather what we know as time.  Quoting and using information from the careful studies of Archbishop E.V. Ussher, we explore key events that guide us through key moments and times stamps.  More importantly, how long and how full of patience and mercy God has for every single one of us.

This sermon was originally delivered on March 30, 2025 at Faith Baptist Church of South Laurel, MD.

F.A.I.T.H.

The feeling of lost is a common theme, at times.  We are either feeling lost and disoriented, lost in what to do, lost in emotions, and so forth.  In this episode, we'll touch on two types of lost: the first that you are lost and do not know Jesus as your Savior.  The second is that you are in a disoriented lost due to circumstances, disorders, life, and so on.

This message was originally preached on March 23, 2025 at Faith Baptist Church of South Laurel, MD.  We'll look at an acrostic of (F)ound-(A)dopted-(I)nheritance-(T)reasured-(H)is.

How Can God Use Me?

In this sermon, we take a look at a few unlikely people that God used to conduct His mission.  Sometimes we encounter or are given insights to share God's Word or perhaps even a select, chosen mission that only God wants you to perform.  Take a listen as Wyatt preached this message at Faith Baptist Church of South Laurel, MD on March 2, 2025.

H.O.P.E.

We take at the word H.O.P.E. in the form of an acrostic while understanding that hope is not a wishful thinking, rather as believers in Christ it is assurance that our hope rests in eternity.

Staying Alive

While this particular sermon is directed at the church in which I preached at, this sermon is applicable to other churches that may be enduring a similar experience.  The primary message here is that, unless it is clear from God to shut the doors, we need to do our best to fight to keep God's church alive!

Forgiveness

We enter a new year and many of us tend to make declarations or a resolution.  However, have we given any consideration to a simple, everyday gesture?  Forgiveness!  Forgiveness is not easy and equally as a Christian, it should not be overlooked to include forgiving ourselves.

Which Eternity is Right for You?

Not many think about the afterlife except, perhaps, in movies.  However, there are a few that do ponder "what's next?"  The Bible does tell us what is next and I'd like to share with you what that is according to God's Word.

Praise and Thanksgiving

The American Thanksgiving season is upon us.  While many of us will be going through the traditions, perhaps this is a moment to take a pause and even remind ourselves that we need to be praising and offering thanksgiving to the One who created us and is our Heavenly Father.  God's Word even supplies us with the words to use when we cannot.

What is Truth, version 2

Yes, another version of the previous What is Truth sermon.  Wyatt Bloom was led to deliver the message on Nov 8, 2024 to another congregation, Faith Baptist Church of South Laurel located in Laurel, MD, as they are also without a Senior Pastor.

The message has been updated a bit to include updated archeological finds, of late, and yet can be a great reminder of how we all need to continue to search for and ensure God's Word is spoken in Truth.

Our Relationship with God

So much of our personal lives and the episodes contained in our lives can pull us in multiple directions.  Our hobbies and interests, especially, can distract us on Our Relationship with God.

Strength in Weakness

Many times, we encounter circumstances or physical challenges that make us weak.  It is through that weakness we need to lean on friends and, more importantly, the ultimate friend, Jesus.
